Fees & Scheduling Information

Art Across the Curriculum

To schedule, please call Lynda Hitchman at (856) 225-6202 and have the following information ready:

• Name of the teacher supervising the group
• Name, address, and phone number of the school or organization
• Grade level, # of students, and # of adults with each group
• Any special needs

Classes may be scheduled Monday through Friday at the following times:

• 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM
• 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

If these times are not convenient, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate you--after-school hours may be available. Before your visit, the teacher will receive:

• Confirmation letter for date and time of visit
• Directions, a map, and a pass for bus parking

During the lesson, students will experience:

• Interactive gallery lesson (1 hour)
• Hands-on art activity (30 minutes)

After the lesson, the teacher will receive a classroom resource packet with information and activities linking the exhibition to the curriculum.

The cost is $5 per student, with adults admitted free. Camden City schools are admitted free of charge.

The Bus Fund

How to obtain free transportation!

The Bus Fund is a program of the South Jersey Cultural Alliance, funded by The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. Its purpose is to provide funding for bus transportation for schools that cannot afford to send their students to an arts or cultural program during the school year. To apply to the Bus Fund for transportation to an arts education program at Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts, please contact an EECAP staff member.
